Pancreatic Cancer UK has appointed charity specialist digital agency, Baigent Digital, to design and build a new website which will launch in Autumn.
The new site will offer a discussion forum together with advice, and promote the charity's fundraising and campaigning activity, making it easy for people to donate, find out about upcoming events and get involved.
Baigent Digital Operations Director, Jim Raymond said: "So many websites containing information about pancreatic cancer are focused on mortality statistics and medical details, which can be overwhelming for the newly diagnosed and their families. While mindful of the seriousness of the condition, we want those visiting the site to feel supported, have hope and be encouraged to join the fight to increase the prospects for future patients."
